Dr. Laura Calma is a licensed Optometrist and a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago, she then earned her Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her areas of expertise include prescribing contact lenses and glasses, patient counseling, emergency treatments, diagnostic test evaluation, and treatment planning. Dr. Calma is board-certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is licensed in both Illinois and Florida.
In addition to practicing optometry, Dr. Calma enjoys trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, as well as studying ancient classical civilizations.
